Pages – CheckoutWC Settings

The Pages section contains settings for your checkout, thank you, and order pay pages. Access it at CheckoutWC > Pages.

Settings are organized into three tabs: Checkout, Thank You, and Order Pay.

Checkout Tab

Configure how your checkout page behaves. Settings are grouped into collapsible sections.

Steps

Control which steps appear in your checkout flow.

Setting What it does
Disable Cart Step Removes the cart editing step from checkout. Customers go straight to information.
Disable Shipping Step Skips the shipping method selection step. Use when you have only one shipping option.
Enable Order Review Step Adds a final review step before payment. Learn more →
Enable One Page Checkout Shows all steps on a single page instead of multi-step. Learn more →

Shipping Options

Setting What it does
Auto Select Free Shipping Automatically selects free shipping when available and hides other options.

Login and Registration

Control how returning customers log in and how new accounts are created.

Setting What it does
Disable Automatic Login Modal When unchecked (default), CheckoutWC detects if an email matches an existing account and automatically opens a login modal. Check this box to disable that behavior.
Registration Enhanced (default): Automatically generates username and password. Customers just see a “Create account” checkbox. WooCommerce Default: Shows password field like native WooCommerce.
User Matching Enabled: Links guest orders to existing accounts with the same email, and matches past guest orders when a customer registers. WooCommerce Default: No automatic matching. Available on Plus, Pro, and Agency plans.

Common question: “How do I stop the login popup from appearing automatically?”
→ Check the Disable Automatic Login Modal box.

Field Options

Setting What it does
Enable Phone Field Shows phone number field on checkout.
Phone Field Required Makes phone field mandatory.
Enable Order Notes Field Adds order notes/special instructions field. Learn more →
Enable Coupon Field Shows coupon/promo code field.
Hide Coupon Code Until Link Clicked Hides coupon field behind a “Have a promo code?” link.
Enable International Phone Field Uses international phone number format with country selector. Learn more →

Address Options

Setting What it does
Force Different Shipping Address Always shows separate billing and shipping address fields.
Hide Shipping Address for Virtual Orders Hides shipping fields when cart contains only virtual/downloadable products.
Enable Address Line 2 Shows the second address line field.
Enable Company Field Shows company name field.

Address Completion and Validation

Speed up address entry and reduce errors with autocomplete services.

Setting What it does
Google Address Autocomplete Fill addresses instantly using Google Places API. Setup guide →

Smarty Address Validation Validates and corrects US addresses before submission. Setup guide →

Cart Summary

Control how the order summary sidebar appears and behaves.

Setting What it does
Cart Item Link Text: Product names display as plain text. Link: Product names link to product pages.
Cart Item Data Display Short: Variations show as “XL / Red”. WooCommerce Default: Each variation on separate line.
Enable Cart Editing Let customers change quantities or remove items directly in checkout. Learn more →
Enable Variable Product Editing Let customers change variation options (size, color) without leaving checkout.
Sticky Cart Summary Keeps cart summary visible while scrolling on desktop.

Mobile Options

Settings that only affect mobile devices.

Setting What it does
Mobile Cart Summary Default Whether cart summary starts expanded or collapsed on mobile.
Show Totals on Mobile Display running totals on mobile checkout.
Show Mobile Coupon Field Adds a separate, easier-to-find coupon field on mobile.
Show Credit Card Logos on Mobile Display payment card icons on mobile. Hidden by default due to space constraints.

Order Pay

Setting What it does
Enable Order Pay Support Applies CheckoutWC template to the order-pay endpoint (used for payment links and some gateways). Learn more → Available on Plus, Pro, and Agency plans.

Thank You Tab

Configure the order confirmation page customers see after completing checkout.

Setting What it does
Enable Thank You Page Replaces WooCommerce’s default order-received page with CheckoutWC’s styled template.
Order Statuses Choose which statuses appear in the visual progress bar (e.g., Processing, Shipped, Completed).
Enable Map Embed Shows a Google Map of the shipping address. Requires Google API key.
Use for Viewing Orders Applies the Thank You template when customers view orders from My Account.

Order Pay Tab

The Order Pay page handles payment links sent to customers (e.g., for pending orders or payment retries).

Configuration is minimal — enable it in the Checkout tab under “Order Pay” and the template applies automatically.
